2022-2023 Upper School Athletic Awards

Congratulations to our students who were recognized at the Upper School Athletic Awards Ceremony with the Athletic Department Special Awards!

We recently gathered to celebrate our Upper School athletes and coaches for their dedication and their accomplishments during the 2022-2023 school year. We are proud of these Stars, and their coaches, for an outstanding year of competition and sportsmanship!

The following students were recognized at the Upper School Athletic Awards Ceremony with the Athletic Department Special Awards:

Barbara H. Daush Above and Beyond Award: Sofia Hilton

This award is given to an athlete who exemplifies a competitive spirit, and through leadership and example, inspires others to work for excellence. 

Elizabeth Ehrlicher Commitment to Excellence AwardLucy Huffman

This award is given to a freshman athlete who has excelled in one or multiple sports.

Marian Swicker Academic Award: Katie Fracchia

This award is given to the senior athlete with the highest GPA while participating in multiple sports.

The James Lassandrello Pursuit of Excellence Award: Lauryn Cunningham

This award is given to an Upper School athlete who pursues athletic excellence in multiple sports.

”PEP” Marquette-Stalm Athlete of the Year Award: Caroline Weems and Anna Heck

This highest and most coveted athletic award is given to a junior or senior participating in one or multiple sports at St. Agnes Academy.

Miss Marquette, a graduate of SAA, distinguished herself in our community as an outstanding sportswoman. Her sister, Marie Marquette Stalm, was her first coach at St. Agnes. The recipient of this award must embody the qualities of Miss Marquette and Mrs. Stalm such as scholarship, character, and unusual dedication and loyalty to the St. Agnes Athletic Program.
