SAA Senior Continues Basketball Career at CBU

St. Agnes senior Natalie Bryant will continue her basketball career at the collegiate level as a member of the Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneers. Natalie signed a letter of intent during a ceremony on April 25 in front of family, coaches, and classmates.
“Natalie Bryant has had an enormous impact on the basketball program at Saint Agnes,” said SAA basketball coach Caitlin Motte. “She is a player who comes in every day, ready to put in the hard work behind the scenes and make those around her better. Natalie leads by example. CBU will be a great fit for her academic and athletic goals, and I am excited to see what she accomplishes over the next four years.”
A two-sport athlete throughout high school, Natalie has competed on the basketball and track teams, excelling in both sports. She was a four-year starter on the varsity basketball team. Her senior season she was named 1st Team All Region and All Metro, and she helped lead St. Agnes to the TSSAA state tournament. Natalie was named Commercial Appeal Athlete of the Week in 2022 and Daily Memphian Athlete of the Week in 2023. A talented track athlete she competes in the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Currently, she is ranked 1st in the region in the high jump. During the 2022 track season she was named to the All-Metro track and field team and placed 7th in the state in the high jump.
Off the court Natalie excels in the classroom earning Magna Cum Laude honors. She is a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society and has earned Scholar-Athlete recognition for four years. She has served as a retreat leader at St. Agnes and is a member of the Spanish Club, Angels Among the Stars and Forever Friends. She is active in the St. Louis Church Youth Ministry.
